Humanity is as spectacularly varied as the colors of the natural world. Yet, beneath our differences, we are bound by universal needs essential for flourishing: to be understood, to express ourselves, and to give and receive love and support. Having navigated my own season of profound challenge, I felt a calling to channel those experiences into a platform of service, supporting others as they navigate the complexities of their own unique journeys.
My transition into life coaching was born from a career in journalism and real estate where I learned that the quality of my questions and active listening, coupled with an innate empathetic curiosity, works as a guide toward a client's positive outcome. In my years as a writer, I discovered that the right questions acts as a key, unlocking the lesser-known dimensions of a person’s essence. This insight granted me the privilege of understanding other people's stories.
To ground this intuition in science, I earned a Master’s degree in Happiness Studies (Positive Psychology) which is a dedicated study of human flourishing and wellbeing. This academic foundation provided me with evidence-based tools to help you achieve your best possible outcomes, yet I remain mindful that change can only occur when there is a genuine willingness to evolve. Often, small changes usher in great rewards along with the momentum to keep moving forward.
On a personal note, I'm Catholic and love the wide circle of people in my life from differing faiths and philosophies. I enjoy deep laughter, movies, walking in nature, memoirs, snuggling with my dogs and searching for the perfect charcuterie board.
